Артистите са от цял свят. Харесвам да мисля за този лейбъл като за безплатния еквивалент на Type.

Enrmix07 е седмата компилация от материал на лейбъла, подготвена специално за !ttl, и която ще излезе и на официалния им сайт. Вътре са събрани чудесни неща за пояса на спокойствието по тъмно, селектирани от човек с ужасно много опит, към когото изказвам дълбока благодарност. Enjoy.

141-вият ни брой обследва териториите стриктно извън безопасния вкус. Той е построен отчасти върху изключения, отчасти върху най-доброто във всеки един жанр, но в цялата си продължителност не включва нито секунда комфорт.

*”Музикален шопар” открива с (горещо препоръчителен) 9-минутен кючек и закрива с 4-минутна ресторантска пиянска чалга (имахме план да почетем тези два жанра още от 5-ти брой насам, ала адекватният подбор е почти невъзможен). Това те оставя с две опции – 1) не слушай, или 2) започни от 9-тата минута. Между нея и 43-тата минута са истинските демони.

Дръзналите да “влязат вътре” ще открият отправни точки във всеки един трак. Лично за мен цялата история, от начало до край, представлява по-голям интерес. Длъжен съм да предупредя, че в “Melica Verris” няма забава, просто 47 минути откровение.

Вероятността, парчетата в този брой да ти напомнят нещо познато, е по-голяма от реалния шанс да си ги слушал. Тоест, надявам се да е така, за да изпиташ същото изумление, което ме обхвана при сблъсъка с Естрадния Оркестър на Комитета за Телевизия и Радио с диригент Вили Казасян, Оркестър София и изобщо с не дотам популярната българска музика от периода 62-ра – 80-та. Следва 45-минутно търсене на отговорите на един сложен въпрос – Какво е Музиката?

Трудно ми е да опиша този брой. Официалното му име трябваше да бъде “Електроника за деца”. Авторът – Oppidan – е част от Stigae, и смело мога да заявя, че има извънземен вкус, както и невероятната способност и търпение да подбира великолепна музика, пълна с истории, отворена за интерпретация, но и поставяща слушателя пред сериозно изпитание.

Неофициално този брой винаги се е казвал “children rendered”, което с всяко следващо прослушване придобиваше все по-особено значение. Така накрая реших да запазя временното заглавие. Траклист, описание, и други подробности няма (нормално за Герман; помогнете за траклиста с коментари).

Обещах, че ще се завърнем по-еклектични от всякога. Ето.

“First off, let me thank Mitko for this opportunity – I sure had fun making this podcast!
I wanted to experiment a little and take a step sideways from my usual style which is well presented on deeprhythms.com. This mix emphasizes the artists and the music, the intention was to play the tracks almost at their full length and not to interrupt them with sudden transitions orlong blends.
The first part is “cosmic electronic jazz” or timeless, genre defying music. The tracks by Bobby Lyle & George Duke were big discoveries and sources of inspiration when I started exploring the roots of techno and electronic music, roughly around the same time I started dj’ing. Ian O’brien’s “Dayride” taken from his album “Desert Scores” on Ferox, again was a real ear opener at a later stage, a perfect combination of electronic instrumentation, jazz & great musicianship. Quince takes a more straightforward approach but retains the same futuristic feel as the previous tracks with flavors of Detroit techno thrown in for good measure.
The 2nd part is a bit tongue in cheek, a reminder that music should be fun and enjoyable – I hate it when DJ’s become too conscious of what is übercool or what should be dissed. Take Chaz Jankel’s “3,000,000 synths” from his retrospective compilation on Tirk for example – it is just plain fun! Same with UND’s weird “Fox in the Box”. This track just popped up when I was browsing through new stuff and I had to get it. Granted, Luke Solomon loses the plot a little towards the end but hey, the groove is tight! REKIDS is a label to keep an eye on, gorgeous stuff. FBA’s Dark Passenger is on the brink of being a bit cheesy, but leave the glows sticks in the drawer since the hypnotic groove keeps the track’s head above water. Toby Tobias receives Tensnake’s treatment and the end product is a tune for hot summer nights – the bass! Ooohh weeeee!
The 3rd part is probably a more familiar sound to those who’ve listened to DR mixes – deep, lush after hours house music. Maybe a little lesser known labels and artists presented here – keep your eyes on We Play House and Kann. Move D rounds up the mix nicely. Hope you had as much fun listening to this as I had making it!

Podcast extraordinaire! Често става така. Dubstard долетя отнейде и прати този чуден диско сет, правен на живо, на някаква вила, някъде сутринта. Ситуацията е такава, че плейлиста е незапомнен, за разлика от момента. Njoy.

Всичко започна от една аудиокасета Goldstar, която брат ми донесе пълна с музика от sci-fi филми. Откриваше, естествено, със Star Wars и продължаваше през Dune, Barbarella и тн, цели 60 минути. Това беше преди повече от десет години.

Ирония на съдбата или не, и досега 90% от интереса на мейнстрийм медиите и традиционните метъл списания като Kеrrang! към него продължава да се дължи на екстремния начин на живот на повечето блек метъл музиканти, като най-крайно е норвежкото крило, което се “прочу” покрай поредицата палежи на църкви и (само)убийства в началото на 90-те. Въпреки че според хардкор феновете, истинският блек метъл се познава по това, че е ултра груб, немелодичен и максимално труден за слушане (независимо че носят традиционния corpse paint мелодичните и комерсиални Крейдъл ъф Филт и Диму Боргир се считат за много “неистински”), той е може би единственият метъл поджанр, който тайничко е отворен към толкова интересни и разнообразни влияния, като нойз, амбиънт, и дори неокласика и краут рок (интрото на този подкаст, например, е композирано от Конрад Шницлер от Танджърин Дрийм специално за една от най-важните блек групи Мейхем).
